Corrections Policy

FredCo Paper Trail is committed to correcting substantive errors promptly and transparently.

If a published article contains an incorrect material fact, we will correct it and add a dated note explaining what changed. We will not quietly alter a story in a way that conceals a meaningful mistake.

Minor spelling, punctuation, formatting, or clarity edits that do not change the substance may be made without a correction note.

When new information materially updates an accurate article, we will label the addition as an update rather than a correction.

To report a possible error, email FredCoPaperTrail@proton.me with:

  • The article title or URL
  • The specific statement you believe is incorrect
  • The correction you are requesting
  • Any supporting records or sources

We will review good-faith correction requests and respond when additional information is needed. A correction request does not guarantee a change; the decision will be based on the available evidence.
